Compass Rose

In 2007, the owner of a magnificent Jeanneau sailboat commissioned a custom pendant to match the emblem of her beloved yacht. The emblem was a compass rose. As Maggie researched the origins of this ancient symbol, she was astonished by how it represented what she strives for in life — true north, adventure, exploration, staying the course, journeys — all with direction and guidance.

As she makes each new compass, she finds herself contemplating the many ways it can relate to different aspects of people’s lives. For her sailing clients, it’s a classic nautical motif symbolizing the adventure we call life; for others, it’s worn as a Talisman, reminding them to stay the course through the many challenges we navigate in life; as an anniversary gift, commemorating your journey together.

Thanks to that original commission, the ever-evolving Compass Rose Collection was born.
